I believe I heard this before.. long ago...

The problem with this song is that it doesnt go anywhere. Its mostly repeating the main theme of Zero again and again.

There is no variation. Everything stays the same as the original.

The focus of this song appears to be weird percussionistic effects of the song.

Work on more variation, better percussion.

These strings are annoyingly cut short and are in need of a longer release. The hats are overbearing, drumline overpowers the melody, and the synth brass lead is coarse. No real bassline. Notation is sketchy in a few parts, mixing is raw and muddy.

What this is is a very repetitive arrangement of a 15 second long theme that drags on uncomfortably for three minutes.

yes, the drums can get terribly irritating. It reminds me of when I first started sequencing music. I'd want my drums to sound a certain way, and when I tried and failed, I'd try to remedy the problem by adding more drums. If that didn't work, I'd try rearranging the drum patterns per measure. It rarely seemed to work. Every once in awhile, I'd come up with some new and interesting, albeit weird, pattern that was actually usable.

And other than the weird drums, we've got a set of patterns that are layered in various arrangements, but I'm gonna have to agree with prot on this one, in that it doesn't seem to go anywhere with those patterns. I'm gonna have to go with the tried and true:

NO
