djpretzel
This is my first submission in quite a while. All the correct information is on the mp3 file id tag. It's a remix of the Light Overworld Theme from Zelda 3. Also, my Killer Instinct remix still has "Kendri" as the artist name, and my old kendrionline.com url. Please update them according to the other remixes.
Malcos
7.02! This is a long one, the second longest we've ever recieved I think. The first thing I noticed is that the bass sound wasn't holding the last notes of the riff very well. Anyway... I get the feeling that this could have been a really good mix, except that there are parts in the mix where lots of instruments come in at once and the whole thing clashes into off-keyness for a few seconds. Noooooo... Other than that, some instruments could have done with some more reverb to really fill out the song. NO
Protricity
Theres quite a bit of off-key going on here. Aside from that, there is virtually no variation on the melodys of the title/main theme of zelda. Thirdly, theres an extreme amount of repetition here. Theres just no reason to have a 7 minute song with 9 or 10 looopings. NO
m68030
Yeah, the loss of pitch in the few bass low notes is kinda making me frown. Also noting that the encoder has fouled up the time recognition in Winamp.. might want to re-encode that for better compatability. .....fucking music of my groin lyrics... Anyway.. Now that the melody has kicked in, i'm noting that it smells alot like my groin... I'm sure a few people would enjoy it, but the vast majority are just going to be left going "Oh, another zelda mix." I'm not really understanding the point of this track.. the combination of the house/club bass and piano, strings, etc just confuses me.. Sure it works musically, by stylistically what's the point? I dunno, I'm just not hearing anything really outstanding here execpt for some nice clean instruments. NO
