Pici
So I want to make a quick arrangement of this song : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=tiUTI35xfw8 Dance tune from global gladiators. I found a midi file of the song here : http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/sega/genesis/gg_dancetune.mid So what I want to do is just changing the instrument to make sound the music less "16 bit" The tool I have right now is FL 7 but I can buy other sofwares. So my question is : is it possible to load the .mid file on fruity loops and change the instruments for each channel ? if not, How may I do my arrangement ? JH Sounds
For some reason this tune reminded me of Corona's "The Rhythm of the Night". I smell a potential mashup... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lv6xxEF4hdo
JH Sounds
Oh, and since no one answered the question: In FL 7 just go to File->Import->MIDI file... There should be an option to split each instrument into a separate channel.
Zephyr
After importing it like J64 said just right click on the midi out channel you want to change and choose "replace" then pick whatever you want there instead. Alternatively just drag something from the browser over top of the channel. Good luck.
Nutritious
Just don't submit it to OCR when you're done
