Protricity Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 The problem here is that while this remix is rather moving and active- My leg was bouncing the whole time - the melody does not stray at all from the original. It has a lot of nifty sound effects and such, but the simplistic beat and lack of originality get this a NO.

NOOOOOO not a 4 on teh floor dance mix! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwhgggh *dies* i'm not hearing anything remotely sophisticated, unique, or interesting. where's the beef...er...harmony? there also seem to be a lot of glitches/clipping. everything before 0:45 is great and has lots of potential. everything else is completely bland and ordinary. NO

Simple four to the floor beat with single line bass and the melody on top. The last third of the mix finally added some individuality with drum change, but it wasn't enough. NO
m68030 Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 If this had really gone anywhere more than what it was, it might have been better. I really thought I'd hear something creative after that intro section. A few neat synth moments, but otherwise rather uninspired sounding 4otF beats. NO
