SnappleMan
Hey fellas, I need a pair of inexpensive monitor stands that are slim, tidy, and durable. Either that or any cheapo alternative that's been proven to not fail... but, everything I see is so needlessly expensive. Any suggestions? tweex
Not sure what size you need, but these are the stands that I use and they've been great! Fairly cheap too. http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/OnStage-Stands-SMS6000-Monitor-Stand-Buy-One-Get-One-Free?sku=452067
SnappleMan
I checked those out. They look great except for the additional $20 on top of the shipping charge. I'll see if Guitar Center carries em.
Yoozer
3 legs means more stability and less chance to break down on you if they did a shitty job welding the thing. You could also go the DIY route, fill a wide-diameter PVC pipe with dry sand and glue/screw/nail/whatever two squares of MDF on the top and the bottom. I expect a price match and discount for stupidity on your part.
