I personaly do not like reaper much, I may just buy FL. since thats what im more acustomed too. Zephyr Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 If it's just a midi file you'll need to assign it an instrument to have it make sound, midi data is just data, there's no sound, it makes sound when you play the file because the soundcard inserts the stock midi sounds, but DAWs use it to play instruments or sounds.
