Vig
okay, the intro has far too much reverb. the melody is too dry, and the patches are really bad. the rhythm distortion guitar (?) really plays no rhythm...it's just a sustained noise....oh then a key change....then back. there's rampant clipping, aside from the atrocious distortion guitar. there's really not that much arrangement, the harmony is one or two notes at a time at best. the transitions are sudden and dont work terribly well, especially because the drums stay constant. if you are going to completely change the feel of the song several times, the drums ought to change with the rest of the song. i cant identify what the lead patch is supposed to be. the song has no ending; it just cuts off. you have no idea how much that pisses me off. NO i think this one should have gotten the letter.
Disco Dan
OK HARDCORE DISTORTION, ALLRIGHT!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! man that's messy though. And the ending is quite disappointing. Very dry. I'm repeating Vigilante. Ok, see his post. NO D
Protricity
No need to reitterate what the others said, cause thats what I would say also. To add to that, this is like a deconstruction of the original - it sound exceedlingly worse and improves on no aspect at all... NO
