Total Annihilation

Hello. I am requesting that someone might remix one of the great old strategy games.

Certainly someone here must have played it, and certainly they've heard the music as their armies of machines did battle with one another.

I give you this request for several tracks to be remade.

Ambush in the Passage: link

Attack: link

Forest Green: link

Warpath: link

Fire and Ice: link

March Unto Death: link

Brutal Battle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WulGs5aDCb4

Futile Attempt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jx1hWRDt3tg&feature=related

Death and Decay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DPok-2ciik&feature=related

Where Am I?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGD0B7arXY8&feature=related

Licking Wounds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ormnmIE_aLY&feature=related

I think that's all the tracks I'd like to hear.

I'm now going to wait to see if anyone is interested.

I use to love playing Total Annihilation. You could actually play it over dial up with friends. We'd have peace treaties so we couldn't fight each other for 20 minutes rather than just rushing each other. Good times. I don't think I ever played with the music on so i'll check it out. I remember I used to play this with Gustav Holst's "The Planets" in the background. It fit so well.

It ran surprisingly well online: less lag than C&C. My friends modded it to be 'balanced.' They were quite cutthroat, although we'd have agreements, like "no flashes, Peewees, or nukes."

The March Unto Death is incredible. It reminds a bit of Baroque but with an epic twist. I also really like Forest Green. There's no way to remix these orchestrally and do them justice. They're absolutely incredible on their own. Some type of electronic mix may work however. I'm going to add these 2 to the list.

This music is extremely epic. Take a look what else this composer has done ... Jeremy Soule

to name a few ...

Oblivion

Morrowind

Secret of Evermore

I'm not surprised. He has KOTOR music as well.

Klepaki and Uematsu come to mind as other epic game composers.

He also submitted an FF remix here! http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01130/

Forest Green is one of my absolute favorites.

March unto Death is one that I seemingly recall at random sometimes.

I wish you you luck in your endeavor!

:salute:
