Great beat, but there was a huge disparity between the synths and the beat. The attention to detail on the synths was a lot worse than the beat, and it even swung while the beat didn't. Very jarring. The sections that use source also don't really involve any changes, while everything else is new. It would be stronger to have those intersect somewhere. anosou Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 Not much else to say. The swing on the, rather vanilla, synths clash with the beat in a very jarring way. When the source was present it was unaltered and just one or two melody lines at once, sounds like pasted from the MIDI. The beat sounded quite meaty but the synths were lackluster.
