mjanzen128
It's been just about a year since I first started this one (10 months actually) but I think I finally got it right. There are 3 different LoZ songs in here. Most of it is based from Twilight Princess, and the last one, I'm pretty sure, is a generic LoZ song. Correct me if I am wrong on this one. Remix Secret Challenge of The Gerudo Sources Twilight Princess: Gerudo Desert (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QqdlXtTIjE) Twilight Princess: Hidden Village (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVpHPh_4uhs) Legend of Zelda: Overworld (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajYFOBWOBKs)
Spakku
I saw the title and expected another freaking Gerudo Valley mix. So that was a pleasant surprise. This is probably the least energetic rave song I've ever heard. More speed, louder parts. Less repetition of the same chunk of the Hidden Village theme and more variation in its use, the original track felt more varied than your remix of it. It'd help with the variation if you used the Gerudo Desert and Overworld themes for more than just bookends. If you could integrate parts into the meat of your song it'd be more interesting all around. 1:00 through 1:45 totally sound like Mass Effect, take that as you will. I've heard praise for that sound track but I thought it was rather boring, myself. Still, 45 seconds of uneventful sci-fi groove ain't as bad as a whole game's worth. Also, murdering the rhythm and rebuilding it to something which, as far as I can tell, is about the same seems kind of counter-productive. Is rave music not meant to be danced to? As much as I can relate to the goal of making a crowded room-full of people suddenly feel very awkward, I'd advise you not to go through with it. Charry
I suggest you go through with it but the way you used the main Zelda theme at the end was kind of awkward
mjanzen128
I suggest you go through with it but the way you used the main Zelda theme at the end was kind of awkward I could not think of another way to end it, the ending is the reason why I haven't posted it as a "finished" remix yet cause i just wasn't sure about it. Thanks for the input!
