Black Mage
I am trying to find an elegant solution to hook two HDMI cables to my computer. For a long time I've used an HDMI to DVI for my second monitor (res = 1920x1080) and now I would like to also hook up my TV (720p) for easy Hulu viewing, and the like. I've been on Amazon and such looking for HDMI switcher boxes, but virtually all of them go from multiple inputs to a single output (like when hooking up a DVD player and PS3 to a TV that has only one HDMI port). What I need, however, is a simple, inexpensive box that does the opposite; that goes from a single input (my laptop's HDMI port) to two outputs (my monitor and TV). Can anyone recommend any such device that doesn't cost a lot (say, sub-$20)?
Gollgagh
what outputs does your computer have monoprice.com has a pretty decent selection of AV stuff at pretty cheap prices in fact, today's deal is an active splitter for ~$30 edit: oh sub $20, well there's the cheapo route with a passive splitter for $
