Gimgak
So this is from a project I finished a while ago that I never really got any feedback on from music peoples. I think this was one of the best tracks from the project. Feedback on what I could have done better or what I did well is appreciated. Here it is: We The Polluted
-MZ-
First off, this sounds really good. All of the instruments sound well-balanced, the reverb is just right, and the drums are varied nicely. I don't know if it's a good idea to switch between drum sets like that (ie. from what you had to the orchestral percussion), but it certainly doesn't sound bad. Wish I could give more advice, but there's nothing here that really sticks out. Hopefully a more experienced member can listen to it and give you tips to make it "studio quality" or whatnot. Turtle
I like it. It's got a nice and varied beat (which is harder to do than it sounds) and good melody and instruments. Nice.
erineclipse
2 things, EQ the highs because they were hurting my ears. Also, the main riff was a little repetitive, please add a second variation of the melody at about the 3rd or 4th repeat if that won't mess up the rest of the song. Gimgak
Thanks for the feedback guys! erineclipse, I totally agree with both of your points. I had tried to add variation with those string parts, but they obviously are not enough. I also made this before I knew anything about EQ, so I may go back and see what I can do about that.
