Flicky
After almost a year i decided starting this all over again... this time with a better sound and taking some tips gave on the old version, basically, this is the nearby-final version, it just needs mastering and a decent ending.. and some other nuances to classify this as a remix... http://soundcloud.com/lucasflicky/megaman-zero-straight-ahead
docnano
I wanted to listen to this, but the whole password-protected file sharing thing turned me (and probably others) off. Why not just host this on the OCRemix WIP storage (http://ocrwip.fireslash.net/)?
Snow Taradien
Well, you had me on with you all the way up to the end... When the final set of drums come in, well it ruins it I think personally. The Timpani is just way too obnoxious to be enjoyable.
NegimaSonic
Might want to go with that suggestion about hosting it elsewhere. I downloaded it but it can be a hassle for some people to download a rar, just to extract it, and then put in a password. It is something simple to do but it takes time that may turn people off from reviewing your mix. As far as thieves go, you don't really have to worry about that since no one is going to randomly search "streitarredu" and if they do, well google brings the password up here anyway. The fact its shared anywhere leaves it open for anyone to claim it. It doesn't deter them, but it can annoy people willing to give it a real listen. Don't forget to post the source in your original post too. Otherwise we have nothing to compare it to, I think this is it. So all the nitpicky stuff out of the way, I really like what you've done with this. I'm not an expert on the musical side of things. But it sounds waaaay more incredible than the original song, probably partially because its orchestrated but I'm a sucker for that. I don't know the proper names for the instruments but something in the background past 2:55 seems a little weaker than the rest of the song. Flicky
***Also, some problems with the strings and overall polishment are needed after the first chorus
electric concerto
I must say that, arrangement-wise, this is freaking amazing! Production wise, make this stereo, get it out of this mono thing you have going on... Like, make some instrumenst on the left speaker and some on the right, etc. Other than that, with some mastering, you got gold here. EDIT: Nevermind, my speakers weren't plugged in right, so it sounded mono...
