OceansAndrew
Contact Information * ReMixer name - Keyboard Konan * Real name - Rommel Degracia * Email address - keyboardkonan88@gmail.com * Website - https://sites.google.com/site/keyboardkonan88/ * http://keyboard-konan.soundfolder.com/ * My userid: 43454 Submission Information * Name of game(s) arranged - Final Fantasy II -> XIII * Name of individual song(s) arranged - Chocobo Theme -> "KWEH! Pirate Riding Birds!" or "Pirate Chocobo" Would the latter be an acceptable song name? * Additional information: From Final Fantasy II and up, this is a Pirate remix of the crowd favorite - The Chocobo Theme! * Comments: This song was originally conceived when a crowd at a local Anime Convention was gathered around to hear me play the piano. I was just playing the Chocobo theme and people would yell random themes and I would try to modify the Chocobo song to fit the theme. The pirate theme fit particularly well, and I've only recently gone back to turn it into a full fledged Remix.
DragonAvenger
I have to admit that when I downloaded the 1.2 MB file, I wasn't expecting much from this. I can definitely say that you've surprised me with the way you've approached the source here, and it's certainly an enjoyable listen. However, listening to this further, I'm realizing that you run through the source melody twice in nearly identical fashion both times, with an intro and and outtro as well. There simply needs to be more interpretation here for a pass. You've definitely got the skills to do so, and I hope to hear more from you in the future! NO (resubmit?) OceansAndrew
Pretty nice genre adaptation, and the playing and modulation is really nice, but it needs a little bit more meat (delicious chocobo meat..nomm) to be passable. What you have already is really nice, so taking it a few steps further would be excellent. No, please resubmit
halc
not much to add. nice performance, I liked the inclusion of the prelude at the beginning and the key change at the end. the track is just too short though, and needs some more substance and variation in order for it to be passable.
