how do you make a 303 sim fatter? i layered like a fm pluck synth under some distortion but, not much of an effect. i even boosted lows, no that great.

You feed it lots and lots of cake.

If that doesn't work, try some layering, and some stereo separation/imaging. And maybe some slight detuning/chorus.

Multiband distortion works well for this so you can keep the lows solid.
