I posted this earlier in the year, though I've only made a few changes lately, namely mixing and quantizing issues. For now I'm just going to consider this a "cover" of the song since I can think of how to make it longer. But I wanted to ask, how do the instruments sound, as well as the composition itself. I've been breaking my back to improving my composing... and that damn trumpet lol

I made some changes to the panning of the instruments and some sequencing

Nice cover. But I don't feel the dry guitar from the intro. Otherwise, The lead is pretty nice. Very good cover.

Can't figure out the rhythm, seems like you can't either. Loop the first few guitar chords, experiment with getting them to flow better, apply what you learn to the rest. It might help to write a drum track to make sure the instruments are lined up, then just mute it. That's really the biggest problem here.
