StigtriX
I just wondered... Is there something special you do with your flacs? Some of your albums won't play all of the songs on my Cowon J3 music player. Albums with errors: Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Soundtrack - The song Flying Heaven (Fei Long Stage) freezes the player DKC2: Serious Monkey Business - The songs Monkeys Disarm Their Kremlings, Simian Soirée and Paleolithic Park freeze my player. Pokémon: The Missingno Tracks - The song The Mighty Mighty Pokémon freezes my player They play fine on my PC, but my player is picky when it comes to flac quality. I have no problems with the Castlevania album or any of the albums I have ripped to flac myself. Neither do I have problems with any other format. Nutritious
Since you mentioned that your own flac files work, you could try converting them to wav and back to flac with your own conversion method. The only other thing that came to mind is I noticed is two of the three songs have a special character (accented e).

I guess I'll give up on FLAC on my J3. I can't hear the difference between 320kbps mp3 and FLAC anyway (almost no one can). It's best to store files in FLAC though, as it's the easiest format to convert and it's lossless compressed. But thanks for the help, mate
Liontamer
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=Cowon+J3+flac+problems Seeing some other issues come up with this player & FLACs, but I'll see if I can find a common thread. The e with the acute on top (é) could be one issue, but doesn't explain everything.

Late Mistakes
Personally, I convert them down to level 8 FLAC with foobar2000, saves me a bit of room and makes sure everything is equal. It may also be some form of tagging metadata, or a dislike of non ANSI characters in the names.
