Platonist
Hey! Reunion Netlabel is where you find free electronic music, released at a steady pace, with HQ music from many people from this community, but also from the net label/demo scene/music scene in general. Check us out, OK!? http://reuniverse.org (200+ FREE tracks!) -.------------------------------------------------------------ So, it's a special occasion, and we welcome another newcomer to Reunion! As some of you might know, I (Jonas Loman) study music production at the Linnaeus University - and I'm in a class filled with talented people from across the country (Sweden). One of those is Emanuel Abrahamsson, a.k.a Audio Hills! A while back we had a sampling project. We had to pick one object at home and record noises and stuff with it, and subsequently make a song ONLY from said samples!!!! From the title of this song you can imagine what Mr. Hills decided to use! Incredible, right? ...Stay tuned for more!(?) Direct Download: (lazy?) http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/179%20-%20Audio%20Hills%20-%20Coke%20Bottle.mp3 Website: (Care to check us out?) http://reuniverse.org N'Joy! Archangel
Måste säga att det här är otroligt fantastiskt. =D I've also checked some of the other songs and it looks like a really great "project" you've got going on. And you're from Sweden! That's always a plus for me. =D But seriously, the Coke Bottle song is wonderfully imaginative. It's wonderful to see that music really is all around us. Congratulations to Audio Hills, and to the other people involved in this as well. I'll be paying attention to your site from now on. =)
Jamphibious
This song is absolutely fantastic. Its amazing what you can do with a simple object like a Coke bottle. I'm bookmarking this site, also, because I wanna check out some more of this free music you speak of. Looks like some great stuff!
Platonist
Glad you liked it! I'll tell him about that. (I wish I had a better website, where you could actually give feedback to each individual artist ^^) also, when we reach rns180 (probably next week) there will be a new torrent and direct download for 001-180 + albums, ep, etc the current one only reaches up to 150. Good, but I detect some reverb and sweep effects (cheating) (unless that is fizz)
Platonist
reverb is of course allowed in the production stage. the sweeping is definitely looped fizz. ^^
Platonist
ok, talked to the author. the sweep is actually him ripping off the label on the bottle - looped.
