Playing around in Live when a wave of nostalgia hit me after humming the intro theme for this game..was one of the first games I played/ended on the GameBoy. Once again, tis really close to the source but I did this mostly from memory (seriously). Either way, hope you enjoy.

I enjoyed it, even though I am not fan of the Beat style at all (nor its samples, sounds too generic for me). Music wise I like the transition and effects. Its the sort of music I'd be expecting if there is a current gen remake of the game (with better drum sounds). Although, after a brief listen through the original I can tell there isn't that much of re-arrangement, maybe alter the melody more, add extra solos or change the chord progressions? The intro is definitely a strong part of the piece.

Oh! not at all - The only thing I really changed was the tempo/key of the song it wasn't much of a remix to begin with - : ) just my take on the original - So I understand any qualms regarding arrangement and the like. Thanks for the listen, and I'll definitely take your critique into consideration regarding my next attempt at one of these. : o As for the generic sampling, blame MegaMan 2's sound designer lol XD. Those were the best I could find.
