OceansAndrew
Hello! ) Here is my submission: ReMixer's name: =RYO= My real name: Alexey My email: ryoyuyalex@gmail.com Game: Golden Axe 3 (SEGA Genesis) Orig. composers: Naofumi Hataya, Tatsuyuki Maeda Arrangement name: Dead Mountain stage My remix's name: Deadly cliff, wind dancing Comment: Well, that was my favorite track of Golden axe 3, so I put a part of my soul in this track. To say true, I was always inspired by great compositions of that ages of consoles. Maybe because of it my little improvisation in the middle of this song reminds some rythm of Streets of Rage series sound.) This is my first submission, I hope you'll like it Sincerely. =RYO= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y89X6291cjQ&feature=BFa&list=PLE6DBF6B5849593DB&index=
OceansAndrew
It starts out pretty similar to the original, with upgraded sounds, though there is a little bit of expansion in the middle. Some of the balance was a bit off, with a lot of headroom and a bit of an unfocused sound. It sounds like the mids are really scooped, leaving a lot of strange space. Between this and a very conservative take on the arrangement, I gotta say no to this one. I recommend hitting up the workshop to get some more detailed critiques on this to improve your skills a bit. Vig
Yeah, this sounds like a fairly straightforward cover. It's extremely scooped. There's a ton of information below 60Hz, and not much between there and 1.5k. NO
DragonAvenger
Not much to add. You've got a decent soundscape going on, minus the production issues the gentlemen mentioned. Right now the arrangement is too close to the source, and I'd like to see you branch out more and add your own interpretations and some original material in this.
