I feel like this mix doesn't really develop once it gets going; I'd look more into varying up your dynamics, or moving around structurally more. Also consider doing something with the main piano riff; it gets very repetitive quickly. There are some balance issues too, where the piano is a bit overpowered by the bass, and some other areas that could be tweaked. Definitely a good start here, and lots you can work with. OceansAndrew Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 I like the super deep sounding synth, and the shuffle beat is nice, but otherwise it is really just sounding like a sound upgrade to me, and it doesn't bring much arrangement-wise to the piece. The balance issues are minor, and you have a good soundscape set up, so take the opportunity to make it a really creative arrangement too!
