Anyway, nostalgia aside, that kick at the beginning sounds really loud for the rest of the song. I'd advice compressing it. The bass in the middle sounds pretty bland and could get repetitive. Maybe layer in some different basses to make a thicker fuller sound, or find another synth. The only other issue is that there isn't enough here. Write some more and it will hopefully help to show any other issues. Quote
