Jenner
Hello guys, as some of you might know, Kizyr and I are getting married. All of our music choices are from video games (because we're nerds.) The problem is, they come from older games and the music we have from them is pretty... 'synthy.' If any of you would like to provide us with an early wedding present we would be really grateful for a volunteer or two to touch up these songs or even just do a cover of them for us. Most of the songs are from Lunar 1 and 2. We'll be providing links later, however, since I don't check the forums often you can PM Kizyr, or e-mail me at soiendure[at]gmail.com if you'd like to help. Thanks for reading!
Kizyr
Hey, so... here's one of the songs that we'd really like: Lunar Eternal Blue - Thoughts of Sorrow (first 1:25 really -- after that it gets sad). If anyone has the talent to, well, tough it up so it sounds more real instead of so synthesized, that'd be awesome. Neither of us have that level of skill. Level 99
My recommendation would be to get two people: one person to take these old songs and create a MIDI for them, and another person to take that MIDI and apply it to some tasty samples. I know there are a few people around OCR who have done/do stuff for VGMusic.com, so they'd be the first to check for. After that, basically anyone who can spend a few minutes tweaking that MIDI who has access to nice sample libraries can get the touch up you're looking for, I think. It would definitely be easier than asking a single person to do it all by themselves.
