Just needs you to sign up. Sure not all of the samples are amazing, in fact a good number of them make you question why certain individuals have microphones.

But there's flash preview, it's fully searchable, it's a community so it'll be ever expanding, it's all legal and free free free; plus it's already pretty huge. A nice find I say.

old. but still good. if i recall someone compiled a soundfont of the piano recordings there, but i dunno if it's available anywhere anymore. it used to be hosted at the auditorium, but they've recently reorganized and lots of stuff has magically disappeared.

I think people are too liberal with calling things old. Yeah it might've been around a little while but labeling it old should be based around the formula (age * popularity) not just if you've heard of it.

It's still 3 - 1 for it being 'new' in this thread.

...The site has been around for months, a couple years even. It's even been Slashdotted. It's great for a site like OCR, because all the samples require is being credited. If you want to use them in a commercial song, the samples have to be edited first.
