Matthade
Hello I'm Matthade! I joined the forums not just out of love for this site but to have someone help me in a predicament I'm having. The issue is that I'm looking for a song that would suffice as an intro song to a machinima I'm making. The only problem is (after looking throughout ocremix's library) I have yet to find a song that does the job. So I'm asking all of you fellow forum users. What OCR track would suffice as an awesome intro song for my show? I need a song that starts out fast (hardly any buildup) ,then slows down (so I can introduce characters) ,then finally picks back up in bombastic fashion. I'd prefer be a rock remix but feel free to suggest a techno remix as well.
Black_Doom
I think you should check out these tracks: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01900 http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01655 http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR03031 http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02454
Rexy
As there are over 3000 remixes, here's one question I should ask in order to narrow that number down - what is your machinima going to be all about?
Matthade
As there are over 3000 remixes, here's one question I should ask in order to narrow that number down - what is your machinima going to be all about? The show is basically using smash characters as contestants for a classic game of survivor. I don't know how many songs will appeal to that concept. That's why I kinda suggested a rock remix. Just something really cool and fast will suffice.

Unfortunately none of them really start out rocking, they all kinda take anywhere from 10-30 seconds for the main song plays. So with that said I'm still very open to any suggestions from forum members.

Did you try going through the Apex albums (2013 | 2014 | 2015)? These albums were created to tie in with the Apex fighting game tournaments that happen every year, Super Smash Bros being one of them. The tracks are all very fast and aggressive, so you should be able to find what you're looking for! As for long intro problems, if you're making a machinima you should still be able to do some audio editing to take out any long pieces of intro. What software are you using to assemble the video(s)? DaMonz
You want to rock out? I strongly recommend going the Sixto way. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02867 http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02869 http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02293 This could be a good candidate too, if you like fusion: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02865 Your requirements are very specific though, you might want to consider editing a track to get something that works (like chopping out the meat, and blending the beginning part with the ending to get that "bombastic" part). Also make sure you credit the artists once you've made your pick. Also, welcome to the boards! Edit: You could also lower the music volume during character introductions, might make it easier for you to pick a track.
Frederic Petitpas
I received quite a few facebook messages from people requesting my two following tunes for intros for their shows. Although not a real ocremix songs, those tunes are on ocremix albums anyway. and especially with this one
Darangen
I've always thought The Passing of the Blue Crown had this kind of potential. You could edit the intro to be shorter if needed and fade it in where you want it, but it has a cool balance of rockin' guitar and quiet piano leads.
