Tensei Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 This is a really stupid question, so excuse me for that, but I just can't seem to find where you can up the bitrate for encoding in Adobe Audition 2.0. It encodes MP3s at 128 kbps, but I need them at 192 kbps at least. Sorry for asking such a seemingly trivial question, but it just bothers the hell out of me. Quote

I remember something in the dialogue box for exporting that let you change the bitrate (as I always had mine too high and I had to reduce it to fit size limits). Sorry mate. Yoozer Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Just render to .wav and encode with (Razor)LAME. Better quality, free codec. I also have mp3 encoding in SoundForge, Samplitude and Cubase SX, and I've never used those because LAME does the job . Quote
