Animal Crossing - Able Sisters (quiet current remix)

Here's an Animal Crossing track called ''Able Sisters'' that I decided to a lofi remix of. Just felt inspired and wanted to give it some new life, haha. It's technically supposed to be a little older sounding as it's ''Lofi,'' but it has a driving hip hop beat on top of it.

I first created a cover of the exact arrangement from the original piece (upright bass, acoustic guitar, flute, drum machine, synths), then I treated that recording as a sample to transform it into the lofi genre.

Oooh, I love this! Really cool approach to making the track, and it suits the lofi genre perfectly. Your arrangement has a really nice groove, improving on the original in every way. Great mixing, too - it's a little raw, but that's part of the genre and I actually thought at first that you'd sampled the original directly, rather than covering it first. Overall a really solid, confident mix. Very impressed!

This is really fun! It's sufficiently interpretive while still retaining the feel of the original, and your sound design and rhythmic variations make this mix very playful. I'm not listening with ultra critical ears, but you should definitely submit this to OCR if you haven't already!
