Souperion Posted July 5, 2020 Share Posted July 5, 2020 I know this should make me somber, but it seems the cathartic release is producing the opposite result. I am quite impressed by the delicate mood of this piece. Low in spirit, yes, a little downcast, but not really abject hopelessness and depression. Frustration surfaces in some parts, adding to a complex state of mind. This piece feels like it should be playing to accompany some noble's mild frustration and anguish while wandering his/her estate on a gentle rainy day.
