Magistrate Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Hi there! Tis is my first post as a registered user here, altough I have been active on this website for quite some time. What I am looking for is a remix of "Bolero of Fire". If it is possible, I would like to have it in a style fitting for a "Paso Doble" i.e. in 2/4 metre and about 118-122 bpm. Although this is not a requirement to my request, I would be very greatful if my it is implemented. Thanks in advance. Quote
Pi_R_Squared Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 You got me so excited. But you want the requests forum, this is the WIPs forum. I'm sure a mod will move you soon, but good luck getting anyone to listen. Quote
Theory of N Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Do you, by any chance, mean "Pas Double"? Quote
DZComposer Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Pasodoble is a lively style of Spanish classical music. It is most commonly known as "bullfight music" as it was commonly played at bullfights. This request is a challenge! Taking a 20 sec. bolero and writing it as a true pasodoble is not a simple feat, since boleros are in slow 3 and pasodobles are in fast 2! Quote
realpolitik Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Doesn't sound like a hard fix, just make it a fast 6/8. Quote
Theory of N Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 6/8 would give you a totally different feel from a 2/4. Oh well...I think this'll be my next project after I'm done w/ my Wii Sports remix. Quote
Theory of N Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Currently a WIP. Probably not exactly how you imagined it, but it will have a spanish feel. Quote
Theory of N Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Alright, so I finished it. Well not really. I had some problems w/ FL so this is as much as it's going to be...sorry. Let me know if I should submit it. Quote
TheThoughtfulOne Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I was curious.... you said it was finished... well kinda, and went on like a link was posted... but I see no link.... and I kinda wanna hear it, XD Quote
