Majestic XII
Hello, my name is Henrik and I’m a student at the University of Skövde. I’m in the middle of a 5-week game dev project with my fellow students, and we’re in need of some audio help. The game is called Shopper Rush and the concept behind the game is rather simple. You’re a shopper and you're ready to do whatever it takes to get the new hottest product. However, you share the same thought with hundreds of other people! So you need to rush through the shopping mall to the other side but at the same time battle off hundreds of other people. You can shove people out of your way, sprint and overturn objects to block the path for the others. You could say that the basic gameplay is about flow dynamics and group behavior. If 100 people take the stairs, it will clog up so you might be better of taking the longer path around it. The style of music we’re after is some sort of hybrid. The game would be really fun with some cheesy up-beat shop music. We’re using a sped up version of the Wii Shop Channel tune ( ). Our deadline is week 7 (its week 5 next week) so we would need to have it before then. We are also signed up for the Swedish Game Awards with this game, so this is a serious project. So if you’re interesting in getting your work in a game, this would be a very nice time in doing that .
dannthr
I am really interested in this project--I'm already getting ideas of some fun music for it. But I'd actually want to try to do something a bit different from the Wii shop channel (something orchestral harking back to that sort of kitschy 1950s/60s commercial, similar to the wii shop channel music but done with an orchestra) If you're interested feel free to email me: dannthr [at] gmail [dot] com I'll reply with some examples of some other stuff I've done (or maybe a short demo). Questions for me and everyone else: How many assets are you looking to have? - How many tracks do you need - How long Do you only need music or do you need sound as well? These questions will effect the perception of your apparent "rush" job.

Here's the tracklist for everyone else: Here's the track list: Title Screen/Menu Music - around 3 mins, "loopable" would be nice (Screenshot of our WIP menu: http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/7623/title2mr4.jpg) In-Game Music - around 3 mins aswell Win Jingle - Zelda style animation so a couple of seconds Loose Jingle - Same goes for this one. Thanks!
