KWarp
PC, Windows XP I've been using the standard Bit Torrent client on bittorrent.com for a couple years without many problems. Last month the client completely stopped connecting to trackers (it couldn't locate them). I don't recall any changes to my internet connection around that time (DSL wireless router). I tried swapping to a different client, bittornado, and had the same connecting problems. Around that time I also tried downloading a file through mIRC. I connected to the channel and found the and communicated with a bot, but it couldn't connect and send me the file. I suspect this is somehow related. Thoughts? OverCoat
Perhaps your router is giving you shenanigans did you check to see that the proper ports are forwarded, or your local IP didn't change? p.s. uTorrent is the best BT client :
KWarp
did you check to see that the proper ports are forwarded, or your local IP didn't change? Always possible. How can I check those things?
OverCoat
Always possible. How can I check those things? RTFM usually 192.168.something.something, then you enter your user/pass. If you don't know the password, well... you're screwed, I guess? You can check here for detailed everything: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
