Dinobot 2 Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Hey guys. Thisisn't my area. I have a few dozen minute long .wav files and I'd like to combine them into one file to play as only one track. Any downloads you can hook me up with? Thanks. Quote
Dinobot 2 Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 Are .wav files smaller in size than mp3 files? Quote
Gollgagh Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Nooooooo. .wav is the "lossless" uncompressed format. It's generally 10 megs per minute. mp3 is the "lossy", but smaller format. It can be about 1 meg per minute, depending on bitrate. If you want to encode it to mp3, you'll need this too: http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/L/lame_enc.dll/-/download.html Quote
