DDRKirby(ISQ) Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Yeah, but it's not just some generic chorus sample that sounds similar. It's the exact track used in FF7. meaning they'd have to have found some way to rip the sound...are you asking how you'd do that? im not an expert on psf files so I wouldn't know. I know that it's quite possible for nes/snes/etc but again, i'm not sure how the sequencing for psf's goes so i wouldn't know. someone's probably found a way, though. Quote
Yoozer Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Here's an example that's hopefully helpful: excerpt from original - Jurassic Park, SNES, "Ocean" track http://www.theheartcore.com/music/snesjp_ocean_orig.mp3 remix: http://www.theheartcore.com/music/snesjp_ocean_remix.mp3 Notice what happened? I left some bits away, chose different instruments, and altered parts of the melody a bit. Quote

Guess the track just had to be ripped. It's cool how this is all done, though. Hopefully I can remix my own songs one day. Quote
