I just love the soundtracks from the game, so i made a piano version of one of them. It's really a perfect song to play and it feels good playing it so whatever. Thanks=) /chillipill ------------------------------------------------------------ http://tzone.org/~llin/psf/packs2/Chrono_Cross_psf.rar - 107 "Dream of the Shore Bordering Another World" Sounded nice, so I paneled it. The string samples first used at :55 were decent, but lacked presence. Arrangement-wise, aside from the brief intro, this is very much a cover adapted for piano. You need to add more personal flavor to it. Even for a piece attempting to be interpretive, 1:46-long usually isn't enough time develop a cohesive, fleshed-out arrangement, so you need to do more with this. Read up on the Submissions Standards more thoroughly and listen to some of the other more recent Chrono Cross arrangements on the site to get more of an idea of what we're looking for in terms of adding your own individual spin to the original work. Vig
Yeah, sounds nice, but this is a straightup cover. Good chops, but now it's time to make it your own. NO
djpretzel
Jesse and Larry are correct in assessing the arrangement - there needs to be more interpretation. Some other comments: piano sounds decent but strings are a little thin, could be octave-doubled or something. Also, the underlying pattern you've come up with is nice and fits the melody well, but it's a bit overused. NO
