Need Help with My Mac

I actually just got an imac, and I am looking for some programs for it, Freeware if at all possible. An MP3 player that is not connected with itunes is what I want the most. I am looking for anything really, being that this is my first mac.

Versiontracker has a wide variety of programs to download. However the majority of programs on the Mac are shareware, you can find some freeware stuff. As far as MP3 players go, I have MacAmp Lite X in addition to iTunes however I rarely use the former. Mostly for .ogg stuff, which again is rare for me to listen to and I believe that iTunes can read .ogg now if not download a plug-in for it.

What's wrong about itunes anyway? I mean, I wouldn't want it, but I also wouldn't want an imac.

iMacs suck. At least get a G5 tower or something.
