kongsmoelf Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Hi. The question is simple. Is it possible to use reason in fruity loops, like with cubase -smoelfen:< Quote
Fishy Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 http://www.propellerheads.se/ They have a list of official ReWire programs there. Fl Studio isn't on it. Reaper isn't on there either, but I've used it with Reason, so it could work. Quote
suzumebachi Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 FLStudio most certainly is a ReWire host. Quote
Fishy Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Propellerheads fail for not being up to date. Quote
kongsmoelf Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 That a good reason <HAHA:< lol. For not buying Reason. Okay. So... It's not up to date... And FL does not support Reason aka Reason doesn't support FL. Or was that incorrect? Well. Thanks for the quick replies -Smoelfen:< Quote
Fishy Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Uh no, FL DOES work with Reason the same as Cubase does as long as you have a late enough version. Quote
suzumebachi Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 http://www.flstudio.com/help/html/rewire_host_reason.htm have fun. Quote
Knives Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 You can pretty much rewire Reason into anything, I'm sure the list of DAWs that it is uncompatible with is much smaller than the list of ones that it is rewirable into. Quote
kongsmoelf Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 And Rewire is to make it fit with a program? -smoelfen:< Quote
Knives Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Uh, you could say that, rewire is an application which basically allows you to use Reason as a VST in another DAW. "Rewire" was developed by the propellerheads, the same guys who created Reason. Quote
