  1. a slowed down version of Shnabubula?

    LOL

    Yeah, right. I wish...

I myself was surprised the style you've accomplished here. Compared to Aquatic Pressure, this is in a completely different direction. analoq did the same thing with his first few submissions. I'm looking forward to what you come up with in the future. :)

Hahaha me too! Tough I must say that I intentionatlly wont be submitting anything for next few months. Since I decided that I will take the time to improve my skills a little bit more.

I mean, I don't wanna keep giving Larry headaches, right?

  2. Done! Finally, completely, mercifully.

    Finals, and both mastered:

LOL - no links here neither.

Two hopes: that I kept things interesting after

not being able to record some of the extra vocals

I wanted, and that I didn't mangle too much of my

very limited knowledge of the Spanish language. :P

    Wow!!!

    Excellent, both of them.

But I think its not a wise idea to post link to finals in the thread, could one of the project coordinators come here take these links away, please?

  3. Forgive me if it's in this thread and I overlooked it, but will these tracks be mastered for the album? What I'm giving right now is decent enough, but officially unmastered. If I should master them, lemme know.

Vega's ending is completely done! Unfortunately, I'm programming my own scratches right now and doing final mixing on the other track, and that will also be among the "5 or 6 in the morning" works coming in.

I wanted to do more with the vocals on both tracks, but my as-ideal-as-it-gets mic setup is displaced for reasons I can't get into now, so I have to work with what I have. The chorus on the Vega track is almost rudimentary because of it. I hope it's still satisfactory... Check it out below:

EDIT: HOLD UP! I FORGOT SOMETHING....

EDIT 2: I FORGOT TO FADE THE TRACK OUT. GO AHEAD NOW.

The scratch seems pretty good to me.

Needless to say that this is tight...

  4. Wow. The person who deleted my last post in this thread want my death. I've only proposed my opinion.

So yeah Shael. When I picked that track, almost one year ago, I was really glad for making it. I still love my Chun-li ending 3 "mix". This was one of the best songs I have ever done. And Chinese Dreams gained a "Stuffs of Legend" at vgmix 2.

So can I return to work on a track plz? I'll promise making some more urban genre. I am a little busy in other projects around. But if you give me a good deadline i can make it with pleasure.

    Is Zangief Stage available?

I am going on the oposite direction.

    I am dropping Chun-Li.

Reason: I am not satisfied with my WIP and really don't want to keep working on it.

My apologies to Shael, I will be following the progress of the project closely and cheering for everyone.

  5. Don't keep your mixes public. Do not host the songs in public websites and never post it in this thread. If you make it, then the future release will be not a surprise at all. Because anyone could listen to the wips before or whatever. Just send it to the creator of this project and himself will give the feedback necessary.

This is an advice. Strongly recommended. So yeah.

I cannot believe my song is still in that mirror.

Well if they want it to be a surprise, they have the choice of not listening, and waiting.

I kind of did a Dhalsim thing a few mins ago, it's very very early stage though:

    www.malcos.co.uk/Dhalsim.mp3

I'm unsure as to whether to include the (annoying imo) key change. I think the key change was just to add some variation, otherwise it would just be a constant loop. I may really have to put a lot of originality into this, sounds quite bland at the moment.

This is actually pretty impressive for a small WIP man! The beat here is TIGHT! TIGHT! TIGHT!

However, I recomend you adding more instruments to keep the song fresh. Fat bassline comes to mind right now.

    Delicious, really.

  6. Blind and Leifo's Sagat is, indeed, finished, and awesome. One more track down.

How about that update on the first page?

Theres a diferent collab on Chun-Li. It would be good to have some color labels (like red for free track, green for taken track, blue for finished) or something...

Anyway, after my hard drive crash I am re-doing Chun-Li, and Shael (quite cruelly by the way), said that he was glad I lost the older version, cause this one is better.

    So cheers!!! =D

EDIT: Me and Malcos are going to collab in Balrogs End.

  7. Yay, BrainCells!

Ok, I am going Txai style and write in portuguese:

    Iei, Células do Cérebro!
