  1. I have OCD (I currently type to you through a pair of paper towels) and my friends like to take jabs at me because of it. I don't mind, as one of my ways of dealing with it is to embrace it. One night, I was showing my friend a computer game when the phone rang. It was for him and when he finished using the phone, he put the reciever on my computer desk instead of the table it came from. This bugged the shit out of me so I reached over and moved it back to it's proper place. That's when he commented in a sarcastic tone "Okay, Captain OCD!" I loved the name so much that I made it my handle.
  2. [01:19] captain0cd: 45 Tracks. [01:19] captain0cd: That's like. [01:19] captain0cd: If music was sex. [01:19] captain0cd: This would be an orgy. [01:19] Friend: that should be the cd title [01:19] Friend: 'Orgy- A FFVII Compilation' This is too much. I don't even know what to say. I feel like I should be giving you people money. Thank you.
  3. I remember what game you're talking about, but not the name. your character wore some goofy hat and sweatshirt with a really high collar and glasses... I think. Anyway, he was featured in a series of games, I can remember playing one wher you went around gathering these parts for a car and then racing it. The one thing that sticks out for me about the game you mentioned was this little cave you had that you stored all the items you won in. Everytime you'd scale the mountian, you'd get to the top and they'd give you some stupid little item and you'd drop back down to the bottom to do it all over again. I can recall two of the games they had you play, one was with weights and a balance, and the other was where you went into this dark cave and these little glowy gems would appear and you'd have to count them within a time limit. Of course, too many would appear at once and you'd have to revert to multiplication. If it helps (and if we're talking about the same game), I think I played it on the Mac. Not to say that it wasn't on the PC, but when I was in grade and middle school, they had nothing but Macs.
  4. Videos like that make me just want to quit.
  5. Yeah, I meant he looks as graceful as you can be playing such a song. "Precise and mechanical" might of been a better choice of words. If you check out my videos, you'll see that I play on my toes too. This is because my playing style is heavily influenced by Yasu and Take. Their videos were my only reference to learning the harder songs, not to mention I idolized them when I was playing Light and Standard. I never played in public until I was well into Heavy, so I missed out on all the mentoring I could of gotten from experienced local players who almost exclusively play flat footed.
  6. Goofy? That looks graceful and elegant to me. It's to the point that it almost seems like the song was played in slow motion and then the video was sped up after. That sounds like a stupid rumor people make up about popular players. Freak? Come on. :\
  7. And that's why the "using the bar" argument shouldn't even exist.
  8. While I don't care how someone chooses to play the game (using the bar/mods), you can't deny that the challenge of bag comes from the inability to effectively read the arrows due to its freakish BPM.
  9. I made another video today, just for this thread. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2023715256 Butterfly Oni. I'm sporting my jank OCR shirt in this, not that you can even tell. If you look at the reflection of the screen you can sort of make out the headphones in the logo.
  10. Atmuh? Perhaps I should get a sig.
  11. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=1491907480 Sorry about the video quality and the host site, the sound is off sync if I use YouTube. I'm not quite as good as I used to be.
  12. Update: It shrunk to a decent size.
