Excellent excellent excellent! You know, I could just keep repeating excellent and you'd totally get what I'm trying to say with this review, but I'm not going to dumb myself down to pokemon intelligence until I make sure y'all get me. This is one of the first songs that I tried on ole OC, and it wasn't long after that I made it my mission in life to suck up all this free music like a big, gluttonous mosquito. I was disappointed once I realized that most of the other remixes didn't please me nearly as much as this one (personally). As I've said before, I'm a melody-centric guy, and you can totally take me on a journey through a great, rolling melody, and damn does this mix got one. This mix would've been used in the game had Snake ever started breaking down and crying like a baby over his own conflicting emotions and idealisms. Well, I think that's all I can really say, besides that this is the second track in my personal "video game remix bestest" cd. 9.5/10. Recognize, this is one of the songs that makes this site impossibly fan-fricking-tastic like plastic elastic. As I was saying, excellent excellent excellent excellent! BTW, if you like acoustic guitar, you should be downloading this mix by now.

This is a great Earthbound remix! This is my favorite game to hear remixes from, and half of the many I'm heard have been excellent, and this is definitely up there. It's not as melody driven as I prefer in my music, personally, and that's why it didn't get a perfect score. But it is the bomb, and I've just burnt it to a cd to jam in the car and on my trip to Shreeveport today. PS: Go Gamecocks, stomp Missouri! EDIT: Huh... I just realized my subject for my review, "8.5/10," isn't anywhere on the dang post. Well, I give this piece a 8.5 out of 10, for the record. Yes, as I said, the bomb and whatnot.

The biggest compliment I can give this song is making it the first song on my all time greatest video game remix cd. And yep that's what I did. Thanks AmIEvil, and no I don't think you really are. You're just misunderstood. For those curious, my "all time greatest video game remix cd" track list is as follows: [MOD EDIT: Favorites list buhleeted/discouraged. Go get ALL the ReMixes instead. They're worth it.] Look at all that free music. If you don't have some of that, go get it! It's all top quality jams for you and your jammies. Ya heard me? EDIT: Hmm, I guess y'all didn't hear me. well, good job, AmIEvil, once again. I guess I'll have to secretely post good reviews for everybody who made my "all time greatest video game remix cd" instead, secrete spy ninja style. So, those in the know can just check out all the reviews and look for ole double J to find his easter eggs. I guess that's what everyone does... Dang, I was all proud of my cd too. Well, it's worth a little extra work to spread the word.
