I registered on the KNGI forum... do people get approved to see hidden threads? Also, what is our procedure for posting WIPs?

Just chiming in here. Some may remember me as the guy doing the Bowser theme for Crescendo to Chaos. I will try reviving that in the near future and seeing if I can finish it up. Also, can anyone suggest themes that would cater well to a lot of choir/vocal work? I want to maybe do another one.

Can I take a crack at doing something with the Merry-Go-Round song, if there' some time to kill? Edit: Actually, what is needed? I notice the ending fanfare is open, and I'm curious if Slider or the File Select song are coming along (I'm going purely by the status colors on the first post). Anyway, I'm up for doing something.

Looks like the last post here was in May... Am I correct in thinking Gambit is getting no love yet? I'd definitely like to take a crack at that one if there's still time. (What's the latest on project timelines?)

So... I guess I dropped off the face of the planet again. What's the status of the project? I still have my Bowser-theme files, if there is reason to revise my song.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah I agree it's a lot of source tunes, but I thought it was fun to throw a bunch in there. I do regret not being able to spend more time on Frog though... And yes, TFAT went on longer because a) it's awesome and i tried to work in the melodies from earlier in the song over the TFAT theme in the last 45 seconds or so to make an actual medley finale of sorts. Needs work. I'll see how it sounds to cut Robo out, and maybe shorten a few other things.

I didn't fall off the planet, though the last month leading up to graduation was busy busy. But, I've finished college now. Hurrah! Anyway, I'm back, and it's summer, and I have all my musical resources to tap, so expect an update soon.

I was kinda hoping to ride this deadline out on what I already had from before. I'm not trying to be lazy, it's just that school really hasn't let up like I thought it would. But, spring break is next week

PI, I agree with you and others, that the previous versions had more variety. However, I really don't know what to do with it. I made the drums more forceful in version 5, and made the guitar and orchestra a little more balanced, dunno if you listened to version 4 or 5, but please let me know which version your comments are referring to, so I don't get confused. No one has mentioned it, so I guess I'll ask what everyone thinks of the fight sequence. Does it detract from the music at that part? Should I put it over the staircase stuff at the end instead? (I put it where it is now so it would end with the mario death jingle.) I thought it was a neat feature, but maybe it's too goofy. Believe me, this is frustrating for both me and you guys, but hopefully we can get it figured out, I just need clear communication of your thoughts (including the WIP version! ).

Wait a sec... PI...on the first post...where did the remixer(s) for Master Hand and/or Dracula go? If either of those is available suddenly, I want to do another one. Unless...did I agree to do a collab with anyone? I don't remember at this point...

Yes, except mine is near enough to completion that last time PI said I should be posting them in a private forum somewhere. EDIT: I didn't notice your post was a link, not a reference to THIS forum. *smacks forehead* But, I don't have private access to the WIPs part.

I'd be interested in taking on either Dive Man or Toad Man . I'll play around with them a little and figure out which it will be (or maybe decide to try mixing them together...) New WIP posted on the forum. It has most things in place now, although there are still some tweaks to do. Plus a little surprise that won't be revealed until the very final version
