    Haha, epic Rambo KS at the end.

    fml. Honestly. I had no idea that deadwood was so capable of fucking someone up that hard. When I saw him going in I clicked that spell to slow tort so that deadwood could chase. Then I was watching my flank as I went in and at the last bloody instance I saw that he was already dead and couldn't cancel my attack in time. I really did feel terrible. :-x

    Anyway. I liked the video.

    I loved it.

    Anyone else feel like the first 3 notes of the main theme sound EXACTLY like Titanic's theme? I kept expecting the Na'vi equivalent of Celine Dion to pop out and start singing. Really bothered me...

    Didn't catch that at all. Though I think the credits were filled with a Celine Dion song. ;-)

    Enjoy your Tempest ult while I'm doing 100 magic damage per second to you! As Devourer that game I had +85 STR from passive. Brutal.

    I failed hard at sheep sticking you in the middle of your ults :-(. You were a rotting fleshy tank. My fireballs barely dented you.

    Blacksmith is really solid now as int support if you don't need the extra melee slot. I played a really solid BS game just now, fun as hell.

    That was a fun game. More than 2 tempest ults would have made it more fun. Namely when 4 of them were literally standing atop one another in the trees you warded for 10+ seconds, with all of us at the ready. :tomatoface:

    EDIT: I didn't realize Lopert was as good as he is. It never ceases to shock me when he contends hard with every game at LAN tournis we go to.

    It wasn't even someone raging at me - I just saw someone who I don't want to name throwing a fit at JadeAuto for losing, and I just thought enough is enough. It didn't even involve me, but it's the epidome of what's wrong with the OCR clan in my eyes.

    If I don't have you friended, please add Rombo. I only played with you a few times but I enjoyed every game. I appreciate your tolerance and attitude toward us n00bs. I remember winning 4 great games in a row with yourself, jade, vilecat, and I. So much fun and good spirit. Hope to play future matches with you.

    lol, I should have elaborated but I had just gotten home and was about to shower. I was there zirc! I played as the colossus. I was wondering why it was listed under lowlights. :tomatoface:

    Oh and for anyone who didn't know, DarkCecil13 jammed with Sid Meier around 30 mins before Meier put on his mini-concert.

    Bonzai and I had a blast! Glad to have met a bunch of you, and I hope to meet even more next year. I regret not becoming acquainted with everyone. All the people I did get a chance to chat with made the trip down more than worth while. I'll be less shy next year. :3

    Holy hell.

    That's a pretty fantastic update, but I can't even being to think of the all implications.

    70% smaller blast radius? That certainly has to negatively affect rocket jumping. And will it self mini-crit?

    Crouch hopping is a good idea most of the time against an explosive class, to minimize damage, and use the explosive jumps to your advantage. Now that you're going to be dealt a mini-crit, on top of the increased damage... everything changes...

    80% faster? Jesus.

    I had to walk away from my computer the other day

    I had to do this after a couple of in-house games as well. Of my most discouraging HoN experiences, none have taken place in pubs. They've all happened during in-house games, or even more sadly, in the OCR community channel.

    I understand the competitive nature of the game. That being said, most people distinguish the in-house sessions as "friendly" games, and through experience I find this a trifle misleading. Most people call them "friendly" games yet regard them as competitive scrims. If a full in-house game is ever being designated as a scrim, I'm sure myself, Luke, and Jade would be more than happy to spectate or find something else to do. So just let us know what we're getting in to.

    I got pretty angry the other day when someone told Luke that he should (and I'm paraphrasing) "focus on 2-3 heroes like Jade and Rambo, instead of being shitty as all of them"

    To an extent I agree. It's nice to have some solid, assured picks. But considering that every time we do an in-house game we play in style of a banning draft, I don't blame Luke in the least for testing the water with every hero, and it's ignorant to tell him otherwise in a "friendly" match. If you're going to try a new hero, when would be a better time to learn. It doesn't help that the hero picking order is determined from highest to lowest PSR. This means that if he did focus on 2-3 heroes, even if they WERE in the pool, he's still unlikely to play them. And I can assure you that it's stressful not having your "core heroes" available to pick, knowing the tension in some of these in-house games.

    I hope zircon's post gets taken to heart, because it sums up what I would hope for and expect from any OCR group.

    @Tensei: No worries about that game. And thanks for that guide to TB. I can assure you I'll be revisiting it until I don't need the reference anymore.

    Evening,

    This is not a post to stick up for other members of nqa, only to address ducky. I believe it was either monday or tuesday when ducky was complaining of us stacking. Not all of us wear tags, I personally hardly ever have mine on. I made it a point to start wearing it in the OCR server so you guys had visual proof that we are not stacking. But as I said, not all of us wear our tag in servers. I can absolutely promise you that there was between 5-7 members that night with maybe 3 tagged. I don't quite remember which tagged made it on which team, but i can absolutely promise that nqa was spread out between the 2 teams. If you choose no to believe me, i respect that as we have had past disagreements. But it is indeed the truth.

    What happened today aside,

    If the above quoted was on yukon, I can confirm that there were ~4 nQa(not all tagged) on one team and 2 on the other. The teams weren't balanced, but they were as good as they're going to get with scythe-messiah being medicated on one. Those were good games, despite the complaints. There are some community members more prone to complaining than others.
