What kind of recording and mixing equipment do most remixers use and how much money would I need for this kind of stuff?

If I had recording equipment and more technicability with instruments, I'd be ALL OVER that Skies of Arcadia mix One of my favorite games ever, nay, final boss fights ever.

Just a little thread for such a discussion Me? My favorite bands are... Progressive Metal: Symphony X, Dream Theater, Karma, Kamelot, Liquid Tension Experiment Power/Epic Metal: Sonata Arctica, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Rhapsody OC Remix artists: SnappleMan (I haven't heard enough yet. Anyone else know any metal remixers?) Video Game musicians: Koji Kondo, Nobuo Uematsu

MM4, you say? Odd coincidence...that's the game in the series that I grew up with! (it was my very first one and my only one for a long, long time)

Yeah. there's been quite a few mixes of the series already, but I think there should be a huge project of Mega Man! I don't care WHAT game! (Although MM2 would be nice...)
