Nothing happens if someone adds your code and you don't add their code back. Two people have to literally exchange codes, both people inputting each other's codes into their system, before the two 3DS systems register the two as friends.
The first person to put their friend's code into their own 3DS receives a message afterwards saying the code has been provisionally registered and to make sure the friend enters your code to complete the process. The second person entering the code instead gets a message saying "you're now friends", et. al. If the first person goes back into Friend List area of their 3DS, they immediately get the same "you're now friends" message without having to do anything further.
tl;dr = You need to add codes on your own system (via the giant list of folks' codes in the OP post). Them adding you isn't enough to get you friends on the 3DS.

Trying to figure out how this affects Dragon Quest IX. Obviously a lot of the post-game downloadable stuff would be walled off, but wouldn't proto-Street Passing and playing locally with nearby friends still work fine? Since that stuff didn't actually require Nintendo's servers to function.
Also, I guess Project M can ditch the Wi-Fi Safe releases. XD

Actually I believe he'd heard it before that; 4 years ago was when he met Harmony at Otakon and gushed to him in person over how awesome this mix is.

What's the month/cover of the issue? Also, cool to be next to (OCR fan) Brandon Sanderson in the plug section.
Seeing how many of us have Words of Radiance already on pre-order, this is pretty hilarious.

I think in terms of what Ken Levine may be able to pull off in the future, this is fantastic news.
On the other hand, in terms of the ton of people that just got fired, it's much more horrible news, and I hope they quickly find solid positions elsewhere.

Everyone is afraid of facing Sir_Nuts. I feel like this is the 4th or 5th time in one of these competitions that he's had an opponent quaking in their boots too scared to submit.
Excuse you sir; my computer exploded. I ain't afraid of no NutS.
EDIT: In retrospect, I guess you could make the claim that my computer was afraid of NutS, but that idea's actually scary on a whole different level.

USGamer's review actually makes it sound flawed but pretty interesting. I'd check it out if I actually owned a console that's come out since 2005 besides the Wii.

- Not actually real, as much as I'd wish otherwise. People initially thought it was an ad for Wipeout 2048 in secret sincecame out a month before that, but it was just a project some team at a university was doing to see how fast a CGI video they made could spread.

I'm sorry you were having issues Jarel So it sounds like you can't even get a render of what you had started off your other machine?
I can't get that machine on anymore, and I couldn't get my mix to the point last night where I could've rendered it and thrown it on Dropbox before it died, so yeah. No go for me. Wish I had finished it earlier in the week, but again, I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with the mix until late, and it's not like I saw this coming.
On the other hand, if I do ever manage to get that machine running again, it probably won't take me long to finish it, render it, and toss it on Soundcloud or something so everyone can at least hear what I would've put up against Sir_NutS track, so here's hoping that happens.

Sorry everyone, but my PC problems didn't get any better; I'm actually typing from my laptop right now. It quit on me shortly after I posted last night and I can't get the machine back on to get my track off of it this morning either, so I'm pretty much out of action for the forseeable future (well, I do have FL on this laptop, but the laptop's so underpowered that it's only good for putting down base ideas to move to the nonfunctioning desktop later, and my Mac laptop has Ableton Live 9 Lite installed, but I haven't yet touched that and don't know how to really use it). There's definitely gonna be at least one default this week.

The ideas for my song unfortunately didn't start flowing until today, but I've been trying to get as much last minute work on it as I could!
And then, of course, my PC started acting up. Like, shutdown to low-power mode, red warning light shining on motherboard, the works. I've gotten it back up and running and am going to try and pull an all-nighter if necessary to finish and submit the mix now, in hopes I can get it in before my computer blows up or something.

It was 8pm last week specifically to cater to all the UK folks, so we didn't keep them up at an insane hour. Back to the usual 9 now.

Those DLC shots are real, but they're the Japanese ones. I know at least the one on the right was edited for the American release. Ironically by hovering a beach towel over the bottom right corner of the screen, which hides the bikini bottom, but at the same time leaves it open for interpretation that she's not wearing anything down there, so...

Whoa, that's awesome! This thread had been dead for a while, so I was getting worried, but no longer! I'll get my nose to the grindstone as soon as I'm done with this week's PRC.
Well, most of last week's new claims happened because I was doing my job as project director and personally reaching out to musicians I know who I thought might be interested, rather than waiting for people to see this thread and chime in while hoping for the best. XD

Nintendo's running a promo where you can get a download code for a free copy of Pokémon X or Y, but only if you buy and register both a 3DS/2DS and one of six qualifying games during the entirety of March. If you've already got a 3DS, it won't do you any good; you've gotta buy a new one.
