Another update, I finished playing through episode 2 a little bit ago. A couple new songs were in there but they weren't anything great, the rest of the levels containing repeat tunes from levels of episode 1. Tune in next time to see if I found any new music in episode 3!

Well I took out my old copy of DN2 and downloaded DOSbox so that I could finally be able to get the game's sound working and check to see if I missed any songs. I managed to figure out enough DOS to get it working, and played through episode 1 in its entirety. Aside from it being a good stroll down memory lane, and a surprise to me that I could still play a perfect playthrough (as though something in the recesses of my mind that had been asleep suddenly woke up), it seems that aside from Level 6 (which I decided to skip since it's a good tune but also pretty repetitive), it seems I found all the best music from the game and posted it on here already. Yay again!

Ok, scratch that. I've just found a youtube video with the tune for DN2 Episode 1-Level 7 and it. is. awesome! Here's the link, check it out!
And here's Level 5, the level I originally wanted mixed.
Here's Level 1. It takes about a minute for the guy to actually start playing, but as a plus (or for some maybe a minus), you get to here Duke sounding like Schwartzenager! There's also some background noise on this one, but it shouldn't stop people from getting a general idea.
Here's Level 2. Same guy playing as the one above. It still takes about a minute in for the actual playing part. Yes, there's still background noise, but that aside, all these tunes rock the house, even for midis!
If I find any of the music for the other levels I'll put 'em up here but I seriously doubt I will. Let's go with optimism though. Yay!
A note to potential remixers: It may be a good idea to make a mix with the songs for two levels in it. The songs for Level 1, 2, and 5 have enough content to make a good portion of a mix, but Level 7's tune doesn't, unless you wanna start getting repetitive. My hope is that by fluidly combining two songs together in the mix you avoid drawing out the songs too much. Not that drawn out songs are bad, just bad for these songs, in my opinion anyways.

I went hunting for DN2 midi rips and guess what? I found some! I can't find the tune for the level that I said I wanted, but now that I've heard what the music for the first level sounds like, I think that it would make for the perfect replacement song. First off, thank you for the interjection, Darkesword. It helps a lot coming from someone with high status.
Now, an explanation of myself. The expensive program thing is for things like high quality CD covers (that is of course unless you want sprite art, in which case I suck very badly!). As for WiP's, I didn't know that commenting on the works in question counted as helping. Apparently it does though, so thank you for clarifying. Also, I totally forgot about the reviews from a standpoint of the remixer, so now I feel kinda stupid. Oh well.

It only became about me because you guys made it about me by getting on my case! By the way, the only real way to get involved in this 'community' as you call it is to remix songs, which I already said I can't do. Reviews aren't worth beans because people form their own opinions if they have any intelligence, and anything dealing with WiP stuff is either remix or graphic design work. Both of which I can't help with because the programs cost a bajillion dollars and I don't have money for that! Believe me, if I had the money for Photoshop CS, Illustrator, or Flash, I already would've started helping the site. I have the knowledge and skills needed to use the programs (I could use them at school), I just don't have them. Also, I have the source files for just about every song I have requested, I just don't know how to get them up here. I put my email address on one of my other threads. If you're somehow saying you want the source, I can ship it straight to you in an email. It's dpslegogamer@mindless.com.

Why exactly is having a lot of posts a bad thing. It just means that I have a lot of songs I'd like to see remixed with no way of remixing them myself as I am short on cash. If you don't like it, ignore it. If you can that is. The fact that you guys have made posts in this thread indicates that you could not simply ignore it. Ipso facto, my plan worked. How do you like having your mind controlled buddy?
On a side note: Why not remix the songs instead of spending your time flaming me!

Side note: A few of K.K. "songs" are so immensely horrible that they can't even really be called songs. Don't bother remixing these (As if I even have to say it)!
Side note on a side note: Don't kill me if this request has already been posted. If it has, I haven't seen it, and I don't have the time to check at the moment!
Triple Side note: Obviously the remix/remixes should probably be medleys of somewhere between 2-4 different K.K. songs. Seeing as how most of the K.K. songs don't have much depth (despite their coolness).

That's true. Although I have a question. What exactly does FL stand for? Flash? I'm new to the remixing business. Help me out here. I'm willing to give it a shot, it's just that I'd be starting from the ground up just like anyone else would.

Yes but if I say something about it to keep this on top of the list I might just get somewhere eventually. You can't shoot me for having a little hope. Well...you could...BUT THAT WOULDN'T BE VERY NICE!!! Also, I'm almost 18. So while I'm not an adult yet, I'm not a kid either. I try to treat people online with respect. Give it a shot. It might work. Oh, and please don't use the respect thing as ammo to throw back in my face, as I did say I TRY to be respectful.

I downloaded the OST for the game so I now know what all the song names are! The two aforementioned songs are called, in the order I posted them, Planetarium and Otherworld.
