Actually, here's the final version. Finished it up last nite when i was half asleep, lol.

So i went ahead and did a metal remix for Lady GaGa's Bad Romance. Your welcome, lol. I, just like everyone else, kept hearing this damn song and worked it out in my head over time. I hope you guys like it.

Very well done buddy. the production is tight as always and its an interesting mashup. I don't mind that song, but i hear it a lot in my line of work....grocery stores...ugh....anyways. I really enjoyed that.

Hey guys. I haven't had much time to really get on here like i wanted to recently due to work....ugh...work..,..anyways, i've been recording a ton of new material due to some big inspirations lately. Mostly power/prog metal, but catchy stuff that i hope you guys will enjoy.
First is The Discovery. I really like how the chorus turned out in this one:
Second is Hero's Battle. This one reminds me of something from an action/fantasy movie soundtrack. Hence the harp intro and classical guitars in the background:
I hope you guys enjoy them as they are part of my next original album that i've almost got finished.

I really enjoyed this piece. Its very well written and ridiculously enjoyable, lol. I love the piano sound. Its very clean and sounds very realistic. Is it a vst or are you playing on a keyboard? Either way, its great. I really enjoyed the strings and oboe too. As for production, i don't hear any problems with this mix.
I can't wait to hear if you've got anything to share!! Great job man.

I do have the free version of the EastWest Symphonic library. I should use those strings instead and see how it comes out. And the part before the first break section, i couldn't really figure out a good transition from the first part the slower second part. I should mess around with that section and see if i can't get it sound better.

I might actually get the complete composer's edition. Amazing price for all 7 of them.
Anyone have a suggestion for DAW is best for using these samples? I use mixcraft 5 right now, and it works for recording my rock/metal songs, but sometimes it doesn't like these samples, lol.

Here's just a quick update. A little better mixing and improved drums, or at least improved kick drum. I also slightly lengthened the interlude. Enjoy.

I should really finish one before starting another, lol.
This version i made the synth leads a lot more dynamic. Some extra rolls and quick scales to help make it blend better rather than it just being the original notes playing over the song. That goes for intro as well the other parts of the song that have the synth lead. I also messed around with the quiet part before the song kicks back in after the solo. All the suggestions Dj Mokram made i took into consideration and applied them to the mix.

Ok, now i think i'm getting the hang of this, lol. I really like this version. Let me know what you guys think? I did a lot in terms of mastering. I really tried to bring forward the guitars and also the bass guitar so it sounds much cleaner.

Zelda 2 Battle/Cave Theme -
Yeah, sooooo.....yeah.....the mixing is pretty damn bad. The fact that you already know really makes this easier, lol. First of all, turn down everything but the drums. That'll even everything out as well as bring the drum track up more. If you just turn the drums up now, it might make the whole track too loud and overpowering.
The organ sounds great! What VST is that? Cause i would love to have it!
I think it needs a compressor to bring the levels down and a little EQ tweaking to help make it stand out but not overpower your other intruments. The fact that the guitars are not real is kinda interesting. At first it was a little different, but once the triplets and chords kicked in you couldn't completely tell it was fake. All in all man, its a great start and with some tweaking on the mixing side this will be a great track!

Yeah, i realized that too about the drums and strings. I change both those samples to some better sounding ones. The strings are now the Miroslav Philharmonik samples. That and i messed around with the mixing in terms of compression and EQ and i think i got everything to sound a bit better.
Also, i do plan on adding an ending of sorts. Just trying to get the production done first.

Maybe i'll sub it. I only really did this cause i bored the other night and i really like the Zelda 2 soundtrack. I was gonna sub my Zelda 1 dungeon mix, but maybe i changed my mind.

Alright. For now i re-recorded that one off part of the solo. I also adjusted a lot in terms of mixing/production. Hopefully this sounds better.

Hey guys. I did this just cause i love the theme. I don't plan on subbing this. Unless of course it has any sort of potential. I just thought i do this real quick. I'm sure i've got other remix matters to attend to, but its nice to take a break and do something for fun, lol.

I like it, but then again i like any remix with a guitar.
I like the way you did it. Its a lot more melodic and moving now. I agree that the long intro/build up kinda takes away some of the power of the track though. Once the main theme of it kicks in, its really cool. Of course, considering that its a live recording of 1 acoustic guitar, it sounds really good.
Ya know, now that i heard this, i gotta make a remix of this theme for myself, lol.
