yay! because as you know real lutes aren't cheap. i saw one for 1400 euros.

i need a good orchestra VST. i found session strings $119.00 here: http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/products/producer/powered-by-kontakt/session-strings/?page=1457
is there any vst less than that or free?

what other basic stuff do you need for a "studio" besides a midi controller keyboard? I, like katethegreat19 use both acoustic instruments & electronic VSTs. here's some of what I have already:

ive tried the demo of fruity loops. my brain wants to explode every time i try to use it. is there like some secret to it? I don't get it.
