Chipamp 1.0 doesn't seem to work with Winamp 5.66 on 64-bit Windows 7. Winamp just hangs or dies on startup with no indication of what's going on. Safe mode works, but of course that just means it skips loading the Chipamp plugins.
Earlier tonight I had a slightly older version of Winamp installed prior, possibly 5.63 but can't say for certain, which worked perfectly.
Also, what's the status on Chipamp 1.1? It's been years since the 1.0 release, which was soon followed by a preannounced update which hasn't materialized.

I just came home from three (more) weeks of business travel, wondering if my backer rewards would be waiting for me. Well, no such luck. Please confirm whether they are still in the pipeline awaiting shipment or if they were sent but got held up at the post office, treasure hunted off my porch, forwarded to Vector, etc.
p.s. my birthday is in two days... FF6 would make a nice birthday present hehehe

Hey guyzzz! It looks like I'll be going to Magfest! I'm jumping on this bandwagon way late of course... so I'll be staying at the Hampton. Anyone else staying there?
You could also join my room share at the Gaylord.
Right now it's Halt and me plus a third person on for the night of 2 Jan. We're looking for more roommates to help reduce costs. -

I've not heard from theshaggyfreak, who I understand is organizing the OCR block. But I do have a room I'm looking to share, and so far there have been zero takers.

Finding a room for just me and my girl was a last resort but I actually wanted a room for 4 people.
I will be in the room as well, plus others are welcome to join so we'll have four or more. I just asked someone I'd shared a room with previously if she wants in.

I'm wondering if booking the room requires a payment of any kind. Also, is it easy to unbook the room if I can't make it?
Cancel more than 72 hours before MAGFest and you'll be fine. You're not charged in advance for the hotel. MAGFest event preregistration is a different story.

After several years of being asked why I wasn't staying in the OCR block, I decided to show some initiative and make things right. And so I announce: I have reserved a new room and put in an OCR block request. Who wants to join me!
Check in 2 Jan, check out 5 Jan. Let me know soonest if these dates need to change. Rate is $135 a night plus confiscatory taxes for $170 actual, which will be divided how ever many ways you like. Four people would each pay $42.50 nightly or $127.50 for the whole event. I accept cash at the hotel or payment in advance, but please do confirm and keep in touch so I know if I need to find more folks to fill the void.
As for music: I plan to bring my guitar and my Game Boy.

Talk of humans seems impersonal and cold, and it's clear you prefer a friendly and playful tone.

"Stop" and "stopped" are far too close together for my liking. Perhaps change the second instance to "quit"? Also, I suggest dropping the word "out", resulting in "he quit helping Dr. Wily during the events of the fourth game".

AVG *really* hates "4-08 zircon, Sixto Sounds - Demon, Fiend & Goddess (Dancing Mad).flac", keeps flagging it as a virus.
I'm looking forward to listening to the album as soon as AVG stops blocking it!

But zircon's not an element like me, it's the compound ZrSiO4. Zirconium's the element. Heh. I think the point is that people get to make up their own capitalization rules whenever they name stuff, much to the consternation of biographers and such. Yeah, sorry I've not been contributing to this thread, just reading along, learning what I can, and mostly thinking "looks good" about whatever I see.zircon spells his uncapitalized. So clearly, proper nouns can be in all lower case.

I also see Anti-Syne's page doesn't link to There Will Be Blood, though almost all other posts from today are nicely bidirectional. Leitbur and Forrest Powell also aren't given any song credits, though they are given album credit and are linked from the song pages.
