My father's giving me usage of his komplete 6. I was personally trying to decide which packs to install... for some reason I'm not really comfortable using synths, but I mean it shouldn't matter, I'm just gonna install the entire thing.

I suppose I'm asking which ones were samplers and which ones were synths. Sorry about that. Thanks

No they're all midi. And you're suggesting rest and embellishments between parts that are more like transitions I'm assuming right?

I think it is a midi actually lol, but it's still pretty cool.

Anyone work with it? What's your opinion on it? I'm still a beginner and I prefer working with premade vstis, ones that sound like specific instruments. but I'm not really able to tell which packs include what.

Kinda writing a soundtrack for a series I'm working on, various kinda like orchestral/movie score-ish stuff. I'm an amateur looking for feedbacks... plz and thank yous This is a theme for like a bad situation I suppose. I have trouble choosing my favorite but I do have a top 5, most of these I only listen too though: 1. French Horn 2. Electric Guitar 3. Bass Guitar (actually most bass instruments sound awesome lol) 4. Piano (favorite and pretty much only instrument I play) 5. Tenor Sax (I played it a loong time ago lol, nice sound though too)

I'm just curious as to the types and styles of music if any you guys are currently writing/working on. Currently, I'm trying to write a battle theme or some action music. I'm making a graphic novel and I figure it'd be easier to write if I had music that correlated to situations in the series. Ultimately though, I have trouble defining the style of music I write lol.

it appears the version I uploaded was ripped from the song "destiny," but they're simply different arrangements of the song it looks like. I randomly found it in my mp3 player one day. I don't know where it came from or what it is it's a very nice orchestral piece though.

I'm running the Kontakt demo on a DAW. So the effects are saved in the sequence, the only thing being reloaded is the kontakt demo in the guitar. The tracks are where, for the most part, my effects are saved. I'm still learning how to use DAWs, mix, edit and create effects. I'm assuming if I were to change anything within the kontakt demo it wouldn't save, but I've not done that yet. But yeah lol, it's a really inefficient way of doing things. I'm possibly getting komplete for christmas, so that'll solve the problem.

Oh no I knew that, I'm running direct guitar free on a Kontakt 4 demo version. It's a bit of a... inconvenience but you can restart the player every 30 min... it's what I do lol! >_<

Oh sorry, I was kinda guestimating with the prices, if you want an exact price range I could tabulate that for you. Guitar rig is more or less optional, any amp synth would do, but you might not need it. The guy who made these uses guitar rig but I think it comes preloaded with some legit amp synthed sounds. Also there are a ton of simi-decent free amp synths. Finally, you can demo contact for free, it'll be fully functional and everything and you can run the guitars no problem. The only major cost would be the guitar vstis themselves
