I reeaaaallllyyyyyy want to do something, but i don't know what...
darn.

You're going to want to read these before you go any further. http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=27685
Done. A while ago, before I posted this topic, actually.
I know what I am getting into, And I know i am lazy enough to wait until now to reply to this.
-
Can I vote for you to put this on the shelf for a year or two? :3
Weeeelll...
It will probably take a while, and I know you are tied up with all of the projects you are in, so don't worry.
There will be room somewhere.
We're not even out of deciding on which platform to use...
Sigh.
-
Well if you want Super Mario Kart... http://theoneups.bandcamp.com/album/...rio-kart-album
Otherwise, there were some DECENT cuts in Super Circuit.
I haven't liked much anything else music or game-wise (with a few exceptions in Wii...).
Should I consider this a vote?
thank you!!!!
Yeah, Super Circuit had some pretty good tracks.
(So did Wii... duh) -
well, I was thinking
what is this thread
Right now, a project I am trying to get off the ground, based off of the Mario Kart series, and I am trying to figure out which platform to use, ie. SNES, n64, Wii, GBA, etc.
...
If you read down to the first post, then this would make a little bit more sense.
-
I have started work on "Northern Kremisphere" I should have something to show by tomorrow.
MOre than anything I've got, and I've been struggling to make anything worth using for MONTHS
Good luck.
-
It's a bit unorthodox, but it's all I've got for now.Voting detail in original post>>> -
why not make it multiplatform, i would join when im done some other projects!
+
If you're feeling really bold, Electrolisystem, I'd recommend a multi-game album of Super Mario Kart and either Mario Kart 64, Double Dash!!, or Mario Kart DS. Mario Kart 64 has the least complicated source material, and MKDS has the most complex score.Yeah, but then it would be somewhere close to maybe seven discs, not including more than one disc for versions with longer game soundtracks, ie. Wii, DS, GameCube, etc.
Sigh.
Good luck. I think I will need it.
-
Canceled, because I am very lazy
However, if you had a part in this project, then PM me your grievances.
-
As a tuba/trombone player, I take offense to everything in this post.
-
Hmm. Could be useful.
Do you refer any style of music (to play)?
-
Don't get your hopes up; that's only temporary
Didn't expect it to.
Actually, I'm doing Frosty Frolics...and I'm betting if it gets on, you people are gonna like it.I Don't doubt that for a second.

Does anyone have any "monkey screaming" WAV files?
Let me guess...
The SNES Jungle Jitters track, right?
-
Alright. I have to ask -
Is Dec.1 the last day for track claims/ new WiPs?

Definitions of Kaster on the Web:
Kaster is a village in Belgium, part of the municipality of Anzegem. Recently, the town made headlines when a serial rapist dressed as a Blastoise Pokemon raped and killed 65 men.
Kids, this is why you don't do drugs.
-
Yup. I am COMPLETELY out of it...
-
Okay...
I think I missed the memo of why the SNES track list is split into two lists.
Obviously I don't pay attention, but...
-
Yeah, I suppose I'll stick to mixcraft for now... I guess I should just find higher quality vsts. Anyone know of some good ones, free or relatively inexpensive. I was going to look into native but I'm not sure yet
Hey, don't get down yet - the 3rd Party VSTs are pretty dynamic when you actually work with them.
-
I had to get a MIDI reference for this:
If you need one for DKC3... that's pretty sad, hehe.. This music is elementary, my dear Watson.
No offense to yous, full offense to dkc3 bwahah
Well, no one is as perfect as you are, Strader.
-
While remixing is possible without a MIDI file, it's sure a heck of a lot easier when you have a frame of reference!
yep.
I learned that one the hard way...
-
Oh, okay. That's good. I thought there was some unspoken to not use MIDI tracks at all.
Well, that's good.
-
I know the answer is probably no,
but if I could find a MIDI transcription of a track could I use it in a remix?
-
... but just know that it's already a VERY popular album on the genre.
... don't you mean "a VERY popular genre on the album"?
Mario Kart ReMix Album Project - CANCELED, because of my weak resolve...
