  1. It definitely was an adventure making this OST, and frankly I'm still too tired to write a sentimental post like this ahahah, BUT, I really appreciate you guys for helping out, couldn't have done it without you. The OST is scheduled to release sometime in January or Februrary when the full game is coming out. The YouTube channel) will be updated occasionally until then with tracks from the game, and check out all our SoundClouds for some uploads from the OST. http://www.soundcloud.com/villeccomedia http://www.soundcloud.com/phonetichero http://www.soundcloud.com/jameson-sutton
  2. I've owned the Yamaha HSM50's and the 80's, and the 80's are completely amazing. Literally there is nothing else to check. The KRK's however are NOT good studio monitors because they are not true flat monitoring, they boost the mids which make for a biased mix.
  3. I'm going to go ahead and claim The Road is Still Full of Danger for a Moombahton arrangement.
  4. I'd like to claim Let's Try and also offer to submit an album art.
  5. Definitely very fitting to the style of a 16 bit RPG, well done! Enjoyed them all!
  6. Looking forward to hearing more man, sounds promising!
  7. Still accepting WIP's from non published producers? I'd love to do the Staff roll credits.
  8. Pretty much I was planning to do all what you said here to start a diet but I feel the same would happen to me...I think the biggest thing just comes down to exercise.
  9. Most of you probably have already played it like me, but Just Cause 2 is on Sale on Steam this week for 3 DOLLARS! Quite a bargain... http://store.steampowered.com/app/8190/
  10. The best double release of all time, I love Sliced Bread so much, and I'm not talking about the actual sliced bread. (I admit that's pretty good too.) Also that logo is pretty sleet.
  11. Yamaha HS80M Studio Monitors - literally speechless every time I turn them on. Go to a Guitar Center sometime and ask to listen to them, that's the only way to describe. Audio Technica ATH50's - they're just unbelievable as studio headphones and also great as listening headphones. I also use occasionally: Sony PS3 Wireless Stereo Headset - to game with and I have to say, especially for wireless, the audio is pretty solid, it's almost a flat mix. Bose IE2 In-Ear Headphones - great little earbuds for on the go and at mid-higher level volume the sound is honestly brilliant, the high ends are almost up to the ATH50's. Mentioned them all because I also produce with all 3 occasionally depending on the situation and to listen to the mix with different headphones after long producing periods.
  12. Download link: http://9bitrecords.bandcamp.com/album/m-a60-ep -- Hey guys, at the end of January I released my first label released EP 'M&A60 EP' on halc's label 9-Bit Records. It's a 2 track Electro House EP and I worked hard to bring the EDM scene's heavy hitting bass, drums, and synth to the video game remix crowd where I'm planning on making a home. The title is referenced from my favorite game Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 for Gamecube (or Dreamcast) for the item 'M&A60 Vise' which is a machine gun. Please take a few minutes to check out the album and if you like it, let me know in the comments! Also feel free to message me on here or at kevin@villeccomedia.com with any questions or business inquiries! 13. Absynth from Native Instruments is beautiful, and it provides endless manipulation and distortion by randomization (button presses) on the stock presets. It's pretty much the only VST I choose when I want a nice pad or cinematic sound for any style. Definitely worth it if you ever planned to invest in Komplete 8 or 9 but I wouldn't purchase it by itself. http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/synths-samplers/absynth-5/
  14. My name is Kevin Villecco and I've been producing electronic music since 2003. I was always into video game remixes and used to produce a bunch but I'm getting back into them now and having it be a main focus as an artist. I'm sure I met a lot of you this year at MAGFest 2013 and let me know if you saw me or met me! Hoping 2013 will be a great year for me to start out in OCR and be sure to stay tuned later this year for an album I have coming out! I also would like to mention I do FREE media work and artist branding under my company Villecco Media. If you need logo work, album artwork, or promotional images, please feel free to send me a message or contact me at: kevin@villeccomedia.com Currently I do media work for Benjamin Briggs, Phonetic Hero, Dj CUTMAN, kubbi and more. Lastly, feel free to check out my latest EP on halc's label 9-bit Records http://9bitrecords.bandcamp.com/album/m-a60-ep
